All pupils in Reception and Years 1 and 2 are now entitled to Universal Free School Meals. For pupils in Years 3 and above who are not in receipt of Free School Meals, the cost of a school meal is £2.70 per meal and this must be paid for online.  Children can choose their school meals on a rolling 3-week basis and their order is placed directly with TSLC. Please contact the school office if you have any questions about school meals.

Should you feel that you are entitled to Free School Meals, please contact the school office. Please speak to the office even if your child is receiving Universal Free School Meals as Clanfield Church of England Primary School receives additional pupil funding for those entitled to Free School Meals.

After you have completed your application you will receive an email to confirm your eligibility,  you can then bring this into the school office as proof of your entitlement. Oxfordshire County Council will also send out a notification to us here at school confirming your child’s FSM and Pupil Premium eligibility.

Free School Meals Application

The Department for Education have a useful link https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals  whereby parents can check whether their child can get free school meals and find out how to apply.

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the DfE have temporarily extended free school meals eligibility to include some groups who have no recourse to public funds (NRPF). This temporary extension is continuing and covers both pupils who are attending school and who are at home due to COVID-19. To access this service, please download, complete and return the NRPF form to the School Office. Please use the NRPF button above.
