Average Progress Score:
A progress score is determined by comparing the KS2 outcome of a pupil at a school with the KS2 outcome of other pupils nationally who the same results as that pupil in KS1.
Average Progress Scores are an average of the progress scores for each pupil in KS2. A positive score means that children in that school, on average, made greater progress than those children nationally who had similar prior attainment when they were in KS1.
In our school the progress score is positive. This means the pupils, on average, make more progress than their peers nationally (with similar prior attainment).
