Vision

Rooted in Faith: enabling all to grow and flourish

Our vision draws inspiration from the Parable of the Sower which is found in the gospel of Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23 in the New Testament.

At Clanfield, we aspire to nurture individuals with the power to make a difference. We aim to create ‘good soil’ for everyone to grow and flourish by promoting faith in themselves, faith in others, and the opportunity to consider faith in God. Our vision is to be a ‘Place to Flourish’ through Hope for the future, Compassion for all and Courage to face challenges to develop our individual talents and grow.

Values

Our school vision from the Parable of the Sower, weaves the values Hope, Compassion and Courage with our curriculum nutrients of Global and Ethical, Community, Valuing the whole child, Nurture Mental Health, Enrichment and Deep Thinking so that our individuals establish roots and flourish.

Rules

Children learn best when they feel safe, secure and happy. In our school, we strive for warmth, mutual respect and clear boundaries for behaviour. Our School Rules provide clear guidance and our day to day methods are underpinned with strategies to motivate children to develop their self-control and consideration of others. Our School rules are:
1. Be Ready
2. Be Respectful
3. Be Safe

School Prayer

Our School Prayer ( written by the children in January 2021)

Dear God, Bless us all in this special school
May it be a place where we learn and grow together.
A community where everyone is respected and deeply valued.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
