Each day we join together for assemblies, collective worship and celebration. Our time together starts with a religious welcome and takes take place in the school hall as follows:
Monday Assemblies – lead by Rev Janice Collier, the Monday assembly launches a theme for the week with a focus on core values and national or school focus area. Teachers then follow-up with related discussions / activities during the week.
Tuesday Assemblies – separate assemblies lead by the Key Stage teachers.
Wednesday Assemblies – whole school singling assembly lead by Mrs Rogers and Mrs Smith.
Thursday Assembly – we alternate class circle assemblies with whole school inspiration assemblies which cover PSHE learning and values.
Friday Assemblies – this assembly focuses on celebrating achievements and progress, especially relating to our core values. Attendance percentages will be announced and the class with the highest attendance will be rewarded with Attendance Ted.
Celebrating success - if your child is to be recognised for something special, parents will be invited to join us for the assembly.
