Clanfield Church of England Primary School pupils will be enthusiastic learners with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to challenge themselves, able to persevere and co-operate to achieve their goals in a safe and caring school. They are polite, confident and considerate of both their peers and adults.
They respect themselves and other people from within their local and global community. They care for the environment and learn to look after the world we live in. They will be challenged to meet their full potential, both academically and spiritually by a committed team of staff who will inspire their pupils through an outstanding education. They will be provided with the skills and values needed to foster a lifelong love of learning.
Clanfield Church of England Primary School staff will work together as part of a supportive team to nurture, encourage and inspire every pupil to ensure that they achieve. They are good role models and hold high personal and professional standards and are dedicated to the outstanding teaching and learning of all pupils.
Clanfield Church of England Primary School parents will work in partnership with both staff and pupils to support the school’s ethos and values. Parents will be welcomed and invited to take an active role in the life of the school.
Clanfield Church of England Primary School governors will have a visible profile within the school community. They will act as a critical friend ensuring that high standards are met and maintained thus helping the school to continue to succeed and flourish.
The aims were written after ‘Our New School Vision’ meeting using responses from Pupils, Staff, Parents, Governors and the community, March 2013
